Wine is an adventure to share, a story to tell, and a joy to savor...

...a journey through time, towards the past and towards the future !
“And with this, what would you like to drink?”
MY STORY
My interest and love for wine took root during my years spent in the restaurant industry, where I had the privilege of confronting this astonishing drink full of stories, hiding multiple secrets. These shy bottles, in a row, waiting to be served, tickled my curiosity and my desire to learn more in order to sell them as best as possible to my customers.
“And with this, what would you like to drink?” a phrase that I loved to repeat throughout my different shifts, always wanting to obtain the perfect food/wine pairing but above all to bring emotion and joy to customers according to their tastes ! Wine, to me, embodies the very essence of authenticity, hiding stories that stretch back through the ages and always awakening joy in those who savor it.

PASSION - MISSION
So I left to explore the world of this nectar in Bordeaux, studying an MBA Wine & Spirits Marketing & Management for two years immersed in a region conducive to these studies ! I discovered, learned and dissected this subject which enriched my life and taught me passion. What followed was a unique experience : the big leap for me to go and test my theories and my English in South Africa. First stop in Stellenbosch, THE great wine-growing region of the country, in a beautiful vineyard where I discovered the flagship grape variety : Pinotage. Second stop, Cape Town, where I learned the art of tasting and food/wine pairing.
Two founding experiences which over time guided me towards the creation of Clairette and which are in line with its values, discovery, adventure and exploration of the world of wine. I want to share this passion and knowledge with you !

UNIQUE PALATES
Each of us has different tastes and palates. I like to listen to people's needs, understand their preferences and expectations to offer them a sensory experience that is unique to them. This is why I passed the WSET 3, an oenology diploma which today allows me to teach you the different facets of wine. For me, its real magic lies in the way it can resonate with everyone's senses, creating unforgettable moments. That is the beauty of wine, it can please each of us in a different way and I invite you to experience it.
